Machinist – Machining Navy Nuclear Valves for Aircraft carriers and submarines components for naval underway fuel replenishment system.
How/why did you begin your career in manufacturing?
The field was very interesting and I was able to get into an apprenticeship program where I learn on the job.

What do you like most about your current position and work you are doing in manufacturing?
Making parts to help our naval fleet.
What is the biggest thing that surprised you about manufacturing when you started working in the industry?
How few people are still in the industries.
What is your #1 piece of advice for young people to prepare for a successful future?
Be diligent in your decision making now to better prepare your future.
Why should someone consider a career in manufacturing?
Manufacturing offers plenty of high paying full-time careers.
What is something you enjoy doing outside of work?
Hunting and fishing.
